Bundle Release Notes
Anywhere365 release notes provide information on the features and improvements in each release.
Anywhere365 has introduced Bundle Release management to assure the quality and consistency of our Dialogue Cloud and On-Premise installations.
Anywhere365 Bundles
The updates of Dialogue Cloud and On Premises will be done based on a Bundle: a fixed combination of Anywhere365 platform elements of specific versions instead of updating platform element versions individually. This to assure extended interoperability and testing of all platform elements in the bundle.
Dialogue Cloud Bundle updates
Updates (or new installations) are executed, on request by partner or customer through the Partner Portal. The customer is responsible for updating the client side components like Snapper if required to match the bundle version.

Bundle Release Types
-
Feature Release
A Feature Release is considered a major update that introduces new features and significant improvements.
-
Hotfix Release
A Hotfix Release is a minor update to a Feature Release, primarily focused on resolving defects identified in the major release.
Bundle Release Phases
-
Upcoming Release
The Upcoming Release is currently undergoing internal testing to ensure quality and performance standards. It is in the final review stage, pending approval from the Release Management team.
-
Phased Roll-Out
During a Phased Roll-Out, the bundle is incrementally made available to customers and partners. It has passed internal testing and received Release Management approval. However, it is not widely adopted yet and could potentially contain undiscovered defects.
-
Recommended
A bundle is marked as Recommended following a successful Phased Roll-Out. It has been reliably deployed and utilized by a select group of customers and partners. A Recommended bundle is the latest iteration of an Approved bundle, encompassing all available hotfixes for that feature train. It is the suggested version when upgrading within or to a feature bundle.
-
Recommended - Default
The Recommended - Default Bundle is the version automatically selected during update requests and new deployments. It is a bundle that has achieved widespread adoption among our customer base.
-
Approved
While an Approved bundle release may have newer iterations, immediate updating is not mandatory. However, minor improvements in newer iterations could be beneficial for your organization.
-
Superseded
A bundle is marked as Superseded if a critical defects is discovered during the Phased Roll-Out or even after approval. This indicates that a hotfix is either available or forthcoming. Transitioning away from a Superseded bundle is highly recommended.
-
End of Support
A bundle reaches End of Support status once it is four major versions behind the current release (n-4), signifying the cessation of both technical and functional support. Upgrading to a supported bundle is advised to maintain service continuity.
