Changes

  • Enhancement for Conference Options tab, the Conference Options tab was no longer showing the caller and the agent
  • The Call Classifications tab is configured to always request for Call Classifications Type 2.0. And if no call classifications are received during a period of n seconds, the tab will again send a request to the UCCUCC stands for Unified Contact Center and consists of a queue that can be handled by Agents Each Contact Center has its own settings, interactive voice response questions and Agent with specific skills. Agents can be member of, or sign up to, one or more Contact Centers. to retrieve call classifications. Each new call has only 1 retry (to prevent excessive polling of the UCC). The default interval for a retry is 5 seconds. For a different time interval change setting CallClassificationsRetryInterval in the web.config. This settings is in seconds. An interval has to be larger than zero. In case of a value smaller or equal to zero, the default interval of 5 seconds will be used. Only numeric integer values are valid.
  • A limit setting is added to the search in the Conference Options tab. Setting MaxConferenceOptionsSearchResult sets a limit to the retrieved search results in the contacts search control. This prevents heavy loading of a large number of retrieved search items. The limit value should be a numeric integer value. In case that the value is zero or lower, no limit will be used.

  • Some language typo’s in the Call Transfer tab language settings have been fixed.
  • New certificate used. Old certificate will no longer be valid after 22 January 2018

Changes

Added the ability to create a MS Dynamics Contact directly in Extension Window without going to the MS Dynamics environment of the client by using a create contact form in a popup. If the user clicks on create contact button and the popup is configured to display in the web.config file of Extension Window, the Extension Window will show the create contact popup with the following fields:

  • Firstname
  • Lastname
  • Phone number
  • Email

If all the fields are filled and the user clicks on the “Create contact” button, the Extension Window will send a create contact commando to the plugin.

Important note The plugin also needs a handler for the create commando, otherwise the functionality to create contact in MS Dynamics will not work. Currently the popup is only supported with the latest version of the Dynamics 365 plugin.

There is a new setting added to make it configurable to show the popup or not, and to use the functionality to create directly MS Dynamics contact in Extension Window.

If the setting “ShowCreateContactDirectInDynamicsDialog” is set to “true” and setting “ShowCreateLeadContactButton” is set to “true”, the popup to create a MS Dynamics Contact directly in Extension Window will be showed. If the Create Contact button is clicked in the popup, the popup will send a message to the Dynamics CRMplugin to create a contact. If the setting “ShowCreateContactDirectInDynamicsDialog” is set to “false” the extension window will use the default way to create a contact.

New functionality is added to the create case button to open an url instead of creating the case in the crmCRM stands for Customer Relationship Management and is a method/technology for managing contacts of customers. CRM helps to offer each customer an individual value proposition based on its wishes. In addition, CRM makes it visible which customers represent higher value for the organization and therefore might be served in a different way. plugin. The new setting “CreateCaseUrl” has to be filled in the web.config of Extension Window.

The user will be redirected to the URL that is set in the web.config for the setting “CreateCaseUrl”.

For example the URL to redirect could be https://examplecompanys.crm4.dynamics.com/main.aspx?etn=incident&#38;pagetype=entityrecord.

Call Classifications are added to the timeline. The timeline will display call classifications from the previous calls.

  • The settings CreateContactNotification and CreateCaseNotification will show a text in the Extension window notifications to indicate that a contact or case has been created. This text could be any text that the customer desires.
  • The settings CreateLeadContactButtonLabel and CreateCaseButtonLabel are the tooltip messages of the two create buttons. In case these 2 buttons are used to create something different than a contact or case, these 2 settings can be used to change the text of these 2 buttons.

  • In this version the Extension Window text, tooltips in tabs and contact card are changed so they will change to specific language that are in the web.config of Extension Window is set. For example if the language setting in the web.config is set to Spanish then all text, tooltips and contact card will change to Spanish texts and tooltips. The translation of text and tooltips are stored in resource filtes (.resx) files. For this version the texts and tooltips are only translated for English, Spanish.

  • In the earlier version the Extension Window does not show the contact / account information fields on a specific order. For the situation we fill all contact / account information in a hyperlink field list with each hyper link field has an order property filled in to define on which position the field will be displayed. In this version of release we built an check in to check do the contact hyperlink field list items a “Order” property. If it has this means that the fields need to showed in the new manner in a specific order and hyperlink field list item without a filled “url” property needs to be showed as a normal field instead of a hyperlink field.

Functionality added to automatically search in CRM Dynamics on a phone number during a chat. If the customer types a valid phone number, the crm plugin will search on that phone number. Spaces or hyphens are allowed in the phone number. The following setting enables the search on a phone number during chat:

  • ChatPhoneNumberSearchPrefix: the value should be phone for CRM Dynamics and empty for all other CRM Systems.

Functionality added to show or hide the SipThe Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is a protocol to make multimedia communication (audio, video and other data communication) possible and it is also used for Voice over IP (VoIP). SIP has similarities with other Internet protocols such as HTTP and SMTP. Uri field in the top bar of the extension window. See the following setting in the web.config:

  • ShowSipUriField: if value is true show the sip URI field, if false hide the sip URI field.

Functionality added to show \ hide the channel or CRM source of a conversation. See the following setting in the extension window web.config file:

  • ShowChannelField: if true show the channel, otherwise hide.

Added more language settings to the extension window and timeline. Currently the supported languages are:

  • EN (English)
  • NL (Dutch)
  • ES (Spanish)
  • DA (Danish)
  • DE (German)
  • NB (Norwegian)
  • PT (Portuguese)
  • FR (French)

To change the language setting, change the LanguageSetting field in the web.config of the extension window. For example: <add key="LanguageSetting" value="EN" />

Note Currently only Dutch, English, Spanish and Danish have complete language settings. Some settings for German, Norwegian, Portugese and French are still in English. The missing language settings will be added as soon as the missing translations are available.

  • Added Language settings for timeline. Currently only English and Dutch are supported. The timeline language setting is set in the same way as in the extension window. Setting LanguageSetting In web.config can be set to “EN” or to “NL”.
  • Enhancement for hyperlink fields. In case of an empty string instead of a valid url, the display name of the hyperlink fields will be shown without a working url (an empty string will be set internally to value = null).
