Configure Sign-in for Web Agent

To enable your organization to the Web Agent, you need to have completed the following steps.

Prerequisites

Note Web Agent including audio- and call handling is only supported in Microsoft Edge if you have a Skype-for-Business back-end.

When utilizing WebRTC clients (in combination with Teams Voice Channel), only Google Chrome is supporting audio- and call handling.

If Web Agent is used for Anywhere365 WebRTC channel only, the following browsers are supported: Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari.

Before getting started make sure your account is enabled by WORKSTREAMPEOPLE to login on the Web Agent.

 

Skype for Business Onpremise – settings

When Skype for BusinessSkype for Business (formerly Microsoft Office Communicator and Microsoft Lync) is an instant-messaging client used by Anywhere365. In order to use SFB, a Microsoft Skype for Business Server is required. Skype for Business is enterprise software; compared to Skype, it has different features that target businesses. agents are registered to an Onpremise SfBSkype for Business (formerly Microsoft Office Communicator and Microsoft Lync) is an instant-messaging client used by Anywhere365. Viewing the Allowed List

In the Skype for Business Server Management Shell on Skype server (front end, application), execute the following command:

Get-CsWebServiceConfiguration | select -ExpandProperty CrossDomainAuthorizationList

 

Editing the Allowed List

In the Skype for Business Server Management Shell on any Skype server (front end, application), execute the following commands (replacing the text in “-Identity “Global” with your own settings):

$x = New-CsWebOrigin -Url "https://webagent.anywhere365.io"

Set-CsWebServiceConfiguration -Identity "Global" -CrossDomainAuthorizationList @{Add=$x}

 

(Optional) Get Identity of Skype for Business CSWebService

If you do not know the value of Identity for your Skype for Business CSWebService, you can run the following command to see all identities configured on the server:

Get-CsWebServiceConfiguration | select identity

 

Office365 – settings

When Teams or Skype for Business agents are registered in Office365, the Office365 administrator needs to approve the Web Agent App to be able to login

This can be done by following:

  1. As administrator got to https://webagent.anywhere365.io/login?consent=1

  2. As administrator login using the Office365 button, afterwards the administrator needs to approve.

  3. After this all users in the organization can login on https://webagent.anywhere365.io
