Install SharePoint Template Online

Create Site Collection

  1. Create new Site Collection (Type: Teamsite)
  2. Grant permissions though URL:
    1. Add /_layouts/15/AppRegNew.aspx to the URL
  3. Fill in App Information:
    1. Client IDGUID is fix
      1. 4f327b5c-d62d-40ef-974b-38bcd3f8527c
    2. Client Secret:
      1. Generate
    3. Title:
      1. Anywhere365 Config Template (can be different)
    4. App Domain:
      1. Your corporate website
    5. Redirect URL:
      1. URL of your site collection

SharePoint Online enable APP top navigation:

  1. Go to top level site settings. URL ends on: /_layouts/15/settings.aspx
  2. Change the URL to: /_layouts/AppInv.aspx
  3. Do a lookup using the APP Id:
    1. 4f327b5c-d62d-40ef-974b-38bcd3f8527c
  4. For the APP add the following request XML:
     <AppPermissionRequests AllowAppOnlyPolicy="true">
    <AppPermissionRequest Scope="http://sharepoint/content/sitecollection" Right="FullControl" />
  5. Click Create.
  6. After creation confirm trust.
  7. Done.


Create Site

  1. Copy SP Template install files to the Anywhere365 Server, for example drive:\install.

  2. Make sure that the .zip package is unblocked.

    1. Right click on the .zip file and choose ‘properties’

    2. Then click Unblock and Apply

  3. Unzip the OnlineAppInstall zip file
  4. Make sure the SharePoint TemplateSettings and Content Management for Anywhere365, based on SharePoint server or SharePoint Office 365 is in the App folder
  5. Edit the properties.ps1
    1. $inputSiteUrl = URL of the site collection
    2. $inputUsername = Username of the account, which is site collection administrator.
    3. $inputPassword = Password of the account, which is site collection administrator.
    4. $inputWebTitle = Title for the site
      Example: UCC Support
    5. $inputWebUrl = URL for the site, usually the same as ucc name.
      Example: ucc_support

      Note Only the name of the UCC, not the full URL.

  6. Run PowerShell as administrator (of the local computer).
  7. Navigate to the files.
  8. Run "sptemplate-online_install.ps1"
