Configure Report Shortcut for SharePoint Template

Introduction

Default the Report URL isn't set, because the report location isn't fixed. For this reason the URL needs to be added later. Below the steps per SharePoint version.

  1. Open your SharePoint configuration page and go to settings (gear icon). Then select 'Site contents'.
  2. Look for a list called 'settingsList' and open it.
  3. Select Reports and choose 'Edit Item'.
  4. Then fill in the URL to the Welcome report page.
  5. Hit Save and you're done.

SharePoint Online

  1. Open your SharePoint configuration page and open one of the lists, "Setttings" for example.
  2. Change to URL from "/lists/settings/" to "lists/settingslist/".
  3. Select Reports and choose 'Edit Item'.
  4. Then fill in the URL to the Welcome report page.
  5. Hit Save and you're done.

    <ul class="dfwp-column dfwp-list" style="width: 100%;">
    <li class="dfwp-item" />
