Installing the Remote Presence Updater service

  1. Unzip the RemotePresenceChanger installer package on the UCCUCC stands for Unified Contact Center and consists of a queue that can be handled by Agents Each Contact Center has its own settings, interactive voice response questions and Agent with specific skills.   2. Open the properties.ps1 in Notepad or a similar editor.

    $RemotePresencePort = 6125
    $domain = "domain"
    $account = "administrator"
    $SipDomain = ""
    $AppPoolName = ""

  4. Run the Windows PowerShell as administrator

  5. Navigate to the installation folder

  6. Run the InstallRemotePresenceUpdate.ps1 script

  7. Enter the administrator password for the account given in step 3

  8. Let the script run and finish

  9. Done


Configuring Inflight Snapper

By default the Inflight Snapper is not enabled for RemotePresence Updater, use the following step to enable the feature:

Note Only supervisors can use this function.

  1. Open the Snapper
  2. Open the settings
  3. Open the UCC Config
  4. Expand the UCC
  5. Check Remote presence update
  6. Click on Save
