Remove UCC


Below are the steps describing on how to remove an UCCUCC stands for Unified Contact Center and consists of a queue that can be handled by Agents Each Contact Center has its own settings, interactive voice response questions and Agent with specific skills. Agents can be member of, or sign up to, one or more Contact Centers..


Shut down UCC

  1. Remove UCC from config

    6.3: C:\ProgramData\Anywhere365\CoreThe Core is the center of Anywhere365. It manages all the Dialogues.\Service\UnifiedContactCenterService\Config.xml

    6.0: C:\Program Files\Anywhere365\Core\Config.xml

    5.0: C:\Program Files\UCC\Config.xml

  2. Delete the UCC cache folder

    6.3: C:\ProgramData\Anywhere365\Core\Service\UnifiedContactCenterService\Cache

    6.0: C:\Program Files\Anywhere365\Core\

    5.0: C:\Program Files\UCC\


Remove from Skype for Business

  1. Delete the Skype for BusinessSkype for Business (formerly Microsoft Office Communicator and Microsoft Lync) is an instant-messaging client used by Anywhere365. In order to use SFB, a Microsoft Skype for Business Server is required. Skype for Business is enterprise software; compared to Skype, it has different features that target businesses. TrustedApplication via with the cmdlet:

    1. Remove-CsTrustedApplication -Identity serverfqdn/urn:application:ucc_name


Remove MSMQ's

  1. Delete the MSMQ’s of the UCC via:

    1. Computer Management

    2. Services and Applications

    3. Message Queueing

    4. Private Queues

    5. Search for the MSMQ named: ucc_ucc_name and choose right click, delete.

    Warning Be careful, only perform this step when the UCC is offline.


Remove from SharePoint

  1. Open the SharePoint configuration site of the UCC. (can be copied from the config.xml earlier)

    1. Open the gear icon and go to Site Settings

    2. Choose Delete this site

    3. Confirm and Delete

    4. (Template 6.0 or higher) Also remove the UCC from the UCC Creator list.


(Optional) Remove Webchat

  1. Delete the following files:

    1. In C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\

      1. Delete ChatHub_ucc_name

      2. Delete WebChat_ucc_name

    2. In IIS

      1. Delete ChatHub_ucc_name

      2. Delete WebChat_ucc_name
