Configure Display Number for CallMe

Introduction

After the customer enters their phone number, the CallMeThe CallMe feature adds a button on your website where the customer can enter his / her number to be called by the UCC, saving the customer in telephone costs. will call the customer and by default it does not show a phone number. To display a phone number to the customer, the best approach is to configure it on the session border controller (SBC).

The installation of CallMe, creates a trusted application endpoint, that is used to call the customer. The SIPThe Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is a protocol to make multimedia communication (audio, video and other data communication) possible and it is also used for Voice over IP (VoIP). SIP has similarities with other Internet protocols such as HTTP and SMTP. address contains the CallMeId and SipDomain defined in the properties.ps1 file, that is used during the installation.

 

Configure

First retrieve the CallMeId from the properties.ps1 file. Then retrieve the phone number that needs to presented to the caller.

Existing number - Message Manipulation rules on SBC

Configure two message manipulation rules on the SBC and assign them to a set.

The first rule adds the header.from.url.userphone to the invite if the call is from the CallMe trusted application endpoint.

Configure the match:

  • Message type is Invite

  • Condition is Header.From.URL.User == <value of the CallMeID>

Configure the action:

  • Action.Subject is Header.From.URL.UserPhone

  • Action.Type is Add

The second rule replaces the sip address of the CallMe endpoint to the desired phone number if the call is from the CallMe trusted application endpoint.

Configure the match:

  • Message type is Invite

  • Condition is Header.From.URL.User == <value of the CallMeID>

Configure the action:

  • Action.Subject is Header.From.URL.User

  • Action.Type is Modify

  • Action Value is <phone number in E.164 format>

Then assign the manipulation set to the correct IP Group.
