Visitors plugin for Reception Attendant for Skype for Business

Introduction

There are several scenario’s thinkable for use of the Visitors Plugin. The first one is that the reception desk sends an invite for a calendar item (meeting request) to a visitor and to an agent. The other scenario is where the agent sends the invite to a visitor and also invites the reception desk. The reception desk is than able to check-in the visitor upon its arrival. When the reception desk checks-in the visitor, the agent (based on the same domain) gets a Skype for Business / Microsoft Teams instant message. If the agent replies that message with “OK”, the visitor will be checked-in. The visitor will automatically be checked-out when the time of the appointment is expired.
