Install SQL Search plugin

Note This feature requires an additional plug-in. Please contact your Sales Contact to verify if a plug-in is purchased.


  1. Start the installer (msi) for the SQL Search Plugin.
  2. Click “Next”.
  3. Read the “End-User License Agreement” and check “I accept the terms in the License Agreement”.
  4. Click “Next”.
  5. Click “Next” again.
  6. Click “Install”.
  7. When a “User Account Control” window appears requesting permissions, approve by clicking “Yes”.
  8. After installation Click “Finish”.



At start the SQL Search is not working, this is because there is no account configured.

To Configure an account for the search, follow the next steps:

  1. Make sure the Attendant is started and license is entered.
  2. Go to “Settings
  3. Navigate to the “Plugins” Tab
  4. Select the plugin named “SQL Search Plugin
  5. Configure the server and the fields that should be used. (Grey settings are for advanced users and not necessary)





SQL Server

The server where the SQL Database is hosted, sample:


Database that will be used on the server


Username of account with access on the SQL Server


Password of user with access to AD Server


Advanced Settings




Table where information of contacts is stored

Sip Field

The column that should be used for calling

Fields to Search

The columns that should be searched when searching separated with a comma

Query format

The query that is used for searching the database

Search query part

The search part for the query above

Filter query part

The Filter part for the query above





Filter Field

Column of database that is filtered

Filter Value

Value that needs to be in the value of the column


Exit the settings by clicking the arrow

The settings for the plugin are configured and it should start to load all information.
