Configure Calendar for Attendant

A part of the attendant that can be used is the Calendar.

 

Setup Calendar

Setup Exchange

  • Make sure the Attendant is started and license is entered.
  • Go to “Settings
  • First go to the tab “Calendar
  • Select the server version of Exchange that is used within your organization at “Version”
    (when you don’t know what version is used contact the system administrator whitin your organization)
  • Select the webservice URL used for the exchange webservice within the organization.
    If you have selected Office 365 it will be entered by itself. When the auto-discover is configured correctly for the mail service the URL can be left blank, but auto-discover slows the process at start.
    (when you don’t know the URL that is used or if you want more information, contact the system administrator within your organization)

 

Setup User

If you are logged in with a domain account to the computer that has access to the mail account you want to use, you don’t have to configure any users.

Else you have to follow the next steps to configure the User:

 

Exchange

  1. Navigate to the “Users” Tab
  2. Click the plus sign ( + ) at the top, a fill in field will slide up at the bottom
  3. Select the “Account type” “Exchange
  4. Enter the “Username” of the account used – email or domain\user
    (sample: user@Anywhere365.net or Anywhere365\user)
  5. Enter the password that belongs with the account.
  6. Click “OK” at the button and after this “SAVE” at the top
  7. Exit the settings by clicking the arrow

The calendar should start connecting to your calendar. When there is an error check your credentials and restart the Attendant.

When still having errors, contact the System Administrator to check the other settings.

 

Exchange (Oauth / Office365)

  1. Navigate to the “Users” Tab
  2. Click the plus sign ( + ) at the top, a fill in field will slide up at the bottom
  3. Select the “Account type” “Exchange (Oath / Office365)
  4. Click "Connect to Account"
  5. Login with Office365 account.
  6. Click “OK” at the button and after this “SAVE” at the top
  7. Exit the settings by clicking the arrow

 

Change credentials

When the password of the mail account used in the Anywhere365 Reception Attendant is changed, you would like to change it. Follow the next steps to change the credentials:

  1. Make sure the Attendant is started and license is entered.
  2. Go to “Settings
  3. Navigate to the “Users” Tab
  4. Select the account with “Account Type” “Exchange”
  5. Change the username or only enter a new password if needed.
  6. Click “OK” at the button and after this “SAVE” at the top
  7. Exit the settings by clicking the arrow

The calendar should start connecting to your calendar. When there is an error check your credentials and restart the Attendant.
